My Perfect Sunday

My Grandma Kathy is coming tomorrow and today my sisters cleaned up the whole house, assigning each other rooms to clean-up. I had our room. I organized our stuff into piles; Hayley's stuff, My stuff, Jenna's stuff, Library Books, and stuff that belonged in that room.
Afterwards, we read some books for science (I'm homeschooled). We learned a lot. I learned about Oceanography, because I want to be a Marine Biologist when I grow up. I learned a lot about Abyssal Plains and Hills.
I then made dinner for my sisters. Pasta with Brewer's Yeast, Seasoned Salt, Butter, and Parmesan Cheese. My sisters love my recipe (friend's recipe, I made it into mine, because I use it a lot). We ate that and then afterwards, had some chocolates that we got from a chocolate shop in Camden, Maine. I had my Caramel Passion Fruit chocolate, which was amazing!

  Then I Blogged This Story!

PopTech, You've Got To Love It

Poptech is a program that runs once a year. It brought me and my dad together and made him proud of me. I was showing him that I was smart and I built it up, block after block. Day after day. Maybe I'll ever be as smart as him, when I'm his age. Maybe I'll even make it into Harvard. I'm confident that I will.

After we had finished listening to an actor, the writer, and a scientific advisor to the movie "Contagion" talk about their movie and their making, my sisters wanted to leave. My mom took them back to the motel and my dad and I stayed to watch a film about surrogating (http://film.economist.com/film/made-in-india, by the way this is not the full film, just a review). I loved the film and at the end got to talk to the Vaishali Sinha, one of the makers of the movie. She had worked with one other person, but she wasn't present at the time or at PopTech at all.
I had felt pretty tired, but I'm glad that I stayed and watched the movie until 10:30 when I had the chance. He was proud of me and I was happy that he was proud and that he had spent a good amount of time just with me.
"If you have someone who loves you, don't push them away. That only means you're a good person to them. "

Sleeping Partner Sleeps

I'm sitting here, just trying to fix up my blog and finish my movie, and my friend falls asleep. No staying up until 2 am. She's already getting her sleep.
Whatever. I want to wake up with her early enough to see the sunrise in the woods. I should probably go to bed now.

By the way, my friend's blog is called KPriorify @ http://kpriorify.blogspot.com/. That's kind of random, but if you want to check out her blog, it's right there.

The Failure of a Goal

  Writing was the Goal.

Unfortunately, the goal failed. Hanging out with my friend Katie on a late night at eight o'clock. We were jamming to music. "Moves Like Jagger" was the song that Katie and I always loved to dance to. We still weren't getting to our goal of writing our Secret Agent stories.
Once, we finished listening to our music, we tried to write our stories. Before I could start, Katie and I went outside and hopped over the puzzles and took crazy pictures of us being spazzes. After a while, I told Katie that we should go in to write our stories.
When we got inside, we were trying to find a snack, when we fell on the floor laughing. Then, I started taking random pictures of our weird faces and pictures of kitchenware. When we got bored of that, I suggested we write.
I only started writing the title, before I started this blog and started watching "Fox and the Hound".
If only we could finish our goals when we were at our friends' houses.
